GENERAL COURSE INFORMATION

All our courses take place at the workshops of the Cambridge Woodwind Makers. This is part of Stapleford Granary, a new arts complex on Bury road , Stapleford, Cambridge, CB22 5BP which is being developed by The ACE Foundation.

The workshop and studio complex  is situated in a beautiful farmland setting 4 miles outside Cambridge with great rail, bus, cycle and road links. The center is a dynamic environment for musicians, artists and scholars, for further information see: www.acefoundation.org.uk.

Our own workshop consists of a purpose-built professional workshop with adjacent lecture room/workshop all equipped with tools and materials. From here all our courses and hands on experience sessions are run.

We offer courses for a range of audiences from school children to instrument teachers, music students, amateur adults, professional craftspeople and anyone with an interest in artisanship.

Using the skills of a number of visiting specialists we offer instrument making courses as well as Repair & Care courses and general taster days.

If there are any courses you would like to do but can't make the date please email us: information@cambridgewoodwindmakers.org.
